Quite a lot of conversation used to go on in 'The Word Game', perhaps people miss that? I really don't mind some conversation going on at all tbh. Thread hijacking can be slightly annoying though, I agree with that.

My last post in this thread as it's getting a bit 'Spammy' in inself :whatever:

I would say hide them,... as you are tempted to post more to break any number coming up! i..e ... I think I'm back a couple short of a hundred again! It's almost unconcious!

I'm also tempted to say that Sig's should be only 1 image of a fixed maximum size, i see a fair few people have now got multiple images as there sig, maybe this should be put into the guidelines too?.

Well this problem is not limited to hexus, many forums have had problems with this

IMO, the best way to stop it is to

1) have a private warning point system, 1 point for every spam thread, and 5 points and you get a weeks suspension

2) don't let post's in GB count towards your final post count

3) have a moderator who only job is to stop spam posts

just a few ideas that i have seen work well
