Can we all stop the spam please. I know I'm not a mod and I am no angel. I'll be the first to admit that I have spammed before, but seriously guys, its wrecking the community. A fair few ex-members have not bothered to re-join as they have heard about the spam. We don't want Hexus to get a bad reputation, do we?

So, please cut it out, you all know who you are.

The spam has definatly slowed down quite a bit as of late, but it still happens. As xtr says the subforums are pretty much self moderating at the moment due to the lack of spam.

Agreed. I never read threads in gd anymore as theres just so much pointless rubbish to wade through. Like others i have been spending most of my time just reading in cars and bikes and films and music. Sometimes a comment just isnt required especially when its 'lol'

I dont think it would be such a great idea, I dont think the mods are enjoying the fact that I have been flaming several members, and I wouldn't want to feel responsible for people getting pissed off.

Well i think its a bad idea, i'm sure i could be quite possibly up for nomination by people as my lack of tact and subtlety at points and bad spelling can iritate people.

I think its a bad idea, anyway this is why we have moderators to control the boards isn't it?.

I don't think its out the realms of posibility for mods to control spam at all, because as you mention, the numbers are still not back to what they where from my experience.

The problem is, some of the spammers have had quiet pm's, even threads made solely to ask them to stop spamming, but they haven't
