A loaded air rifle? That could've done a lot of damage if it had of hit that guy, how on earth did he get one? I thought they were super strict about that sort of thing. And how did he whip out a rifle in broad daylight without anyone calling in the secret police? Did they all temporarily go blind?
'Hey, does that guy over there have - HEY MY EYES! HALP! - oh no, just a bag of chips, where did he get them from?'
Getting an air rifle is very easy. If you're over 17(iirc) all you need is photo ID to prove your age. I still have a couple my dad bought me years back.
It's legal for someone under 17 to possess one in public if it's in a proper gun-case/bag. Again IIRC. Not used mine since I was about 13.
You need a FAC for the more powerful ones(above 12ft/lbs), but even without a FAC rated gun the power is there to do alot of damage.
