I never liked it when it was over here. I suspect I'd like a US version even less.

    Exclamation Re: Little Britain USA

I've watched Little Britain ever since it first aired here in the US. I have to say the first season was hilarious and inspired. The second season was far less of both descriptions due to its insistence on being exactly like the first. The third was a bit better, as I presumed the creators, too, had detected the show's stagnation. So, when the show decided to cross the pond I felt trepidatious. Tonight, my fears were confirmed. Little Britain USA is the worst piece of s#!t I have ever seen on my television; which is to say: I've only had my current TV for just over a year and I tend to watch arguably intelligent programming. But come on! I live in America. We invented s#!t television, and this...this?

I'm in a picky mood today lol

But an American did not invent the tv. In fact it was more of a contribution from a number of people.

Now back to the topic: i think I may watch the first one see what its like, but most likely not watch the rest. Watched all the UK ones so its more of the same if not dumbed down a bit (no offence meant).

Little Britain was never anything more than a pale, mainstream evolution (ripoff?) of the League of Gentlemen. I expect less from Little Britain USA.

I think he meant that they invented "very bad" tv programs for TV in general rather than the actual unit itself that they are watched on.

Back on topic overall enjoyed the UK series, will prob watch the us version on iplayer to give it a go.

Why is everyone going on about iplayer? It's on normally telly

I'll give it ago tomorrow, quite liked the original series, although I never saw all of it.

Cos no one can be bothered to stay in on a Friday night to watch it. Record it or watch it on iplayer but don't miss a night out for it!

I'll be recording it. Maybe it's me getting old, I don't go out every Friday and Saturday like I used to

    Read the sticky here first.

Little Britain is Little Britain and I do enjoy watching the episodes. I am looking forward to watching it on telly/iplayer but maybe I enjoy because I watch it sporadically and not religiously. A couple of episodes of whichever season I saw did make me cringe but just adds to the fun of watching.

Exactly, the credit crunch is not so bad that you have to spend your friday night in front of the TV, without friday night beers down the pub to relieve the stress of the long week there is no light at the end of the tunnel
