    Being in work....

    ...is worse when you have a bit of a hangover.

    I would actually rather it was a full on raging hangover, then I would have a proper excuse for being miserable. Would also mean I'd had a good night last night as well.

    As it stands I'm just a bit tired with a little niggling headache. Not really much of an excuse for being grumpier than usual.

    I didn't even have a lot to drink last night, should be completely fine. But I suspect it has something to do with the dinner I had: a medium popcorn, followed by 4 pints of Guinness.

    Well I think I'm going to see if there is someone in the warehouse to argue with.

    Being 'of a certain age' I find I've got to watch the booze intake. We used to drink a pint at lunchtime until I found a Guinness was putting me to sleep for most of the afternoon. This kicked in once I was in my early 30s.

    Anyway, blame the popcorn and try a couple of nice strong coffees, maybe....?

    At least a slight hangover is a slight excuse to being miserable. I have no hangover and am just depressed and have no real reason for it. Well I can think of a few. Not even my grande triple shot mocha from Starbucks has lifted me. Maybe these mini chocolate flavour topped doughnut 20 pack from Tesco may.

    Used to work in a lab and we had our own very small dark room (for developing) and we equipped it with a reclining chair for this exact problem.
