    Interesting article on voting.

    http://www.creators.com/opinion/john...t-to-vote.html

This primarily involves US politics but I feel it might strike a chord with a few here.

Personally, i feel our civic duty should not be to vote, but to be informed enough to vote intelligently.
I was thinking the other day that voting should consist of a number of questions, each question being related to each party/candidate's policy.
For example if someone answers mostly (A) then their vote goes to Labour.

Just a really rough idea I thought of on the bus but it has to be better than what goes on here, and to a greater degree, the U.S.

Interesting read, and I'd say that I agree that uninformed people should not vote. Obviously its impossible to actually do this, and there's the people who are ILinformed, and thats just as bad, if not worse. At least with people who don't no what they're doing, they'd vote randomly, and itll even itself out.
