Maybe they're trying to hypnotise us "You are feeling sleepy... you will buy from newegg.com..."

"Well, there was your Uncle Tiberius who died wrapped in cabbage leaves but we assumed that was a freak accident."

Not bad at all. It's a cool advert. Something to play with when bored.

Nice ad. I know hexus is UK, but plenty of US folk find their way here too.

I think a paypal donation would be a good idea too, as I've just got a paypal account and need more things to do with it, lol.

I see your point Elmo, it's a bit annoying. Same happens with flash ads on the main page.

I guess flash take priority in z order over javascript. Can anything be done about that?

Must admit I quite liked the google ads....

the only snag was I been hitting "back" when I'd notice something of interest in the google add. Then when you clicked forward to try and get the page up it had changed.

My work comp doesn't show all flash/shockwave stuff and this advert doesn't even show at work!

Not that it bothers me at home though, it's much better than the Google add (can I say that now they are not advertisers here anymore? ).

I personally think they're fine - provided you stay away from the audible ones (a la the evil mesh one that popped up a few months back!) wouldn't mind paying an annual fee either.
