The Hexus What are you expecting for Christmas this year thread ?

So what you lot expecting this year/would like to receive from a a friend/relative/partner/girlfriend/wife etc ?

When asked earlier on last month I couldn't think of anything I wanted, apart from a DVD or two, so whatever comes my way is going to be a total surprise.

I'm actually quite intregued as to what my folks might get me. They haven't asked what I want and they normally struggly because I'm hard to buy for apparently.

I go this in an email from a friend at the start of the week (sent to a bunch of us)

I don't particularly want anything to be honest - if I see anything that takes my fancy, I'm more likely to buy it myself (depending upon the price of course).

Guitar Hero World Tour. I know, 'cause I pre-ordered it! That's all really. There are a few CDs which I wouldn't mind, but I'm not that bothered.

The best thing is watching Matthew open his presents. He's 4, and is so excited about Christmas already, it's ridiculous! No doubt he'll end up playing with the empty boxes as usual!

The cardboard boxes were great fun so many things you can do with them Slide down hills on them, hide in them, and if things go really tits up for you, cover them in parcel tape and sleep in them

Could do with a new chainset for my mtb. Snapped the bottom bracket (somehow ) and damaged the chainring
Aside from that, could always do with a bigger and better kite

One of the best toys I had at that age was the box from a new fridge. We kept it for months until it fell apart.



I want a job for Christmas. Then I can buy presents. For myself, of course. Last year I bought myself a Canon 400D camera but this year I don't have anything major in mind. I have pretty much all the gadgets I want, unless I see something on an impulse.
