Then why wouldn't it let me put in my postage costs as £1.20? - it said P&P can no be more than 0.0p - it was forced on me, I know, I listed two DVDs last night, and could not specify any postage costs over 0.0p.

Re: Anyone else realise ebay / paypal only give you buyer protection for 45 days?

I've never had any trouble with PayPal (touch wood!) - I've used it to sell a few things via my website for quite a few years now and it's been a good system for attracting overseas customers. But I consider myself lucky that I have always had honest customers - I know it can be an utter nightmare when things go wrong.

As for Ebay, words cannot describe my utter contempt for that site. Buyer Protection? Don't make me laugh. I won't bore you with the details, it was more a question of principal than a big financial loss, but it was enough to open my eyes to the fact that the only thing Ebay cares about is making money, they pay lip service to their own T&Cs and don't give a fig about people getting ripped off, probably in their thousands, every day. A shame, really, because it was once a good site.
