    Annoying flash advert

Anyone else getting an REALLY annoying flash advert for some healthcare company everytime they open a thread? It bangs itself right across what you're reading too. It can be closed but keeps popping back up. Anyone? And if it's happening to everyone - WHY?!?

I haven't seen it either, I would suggest a quick Malware sweep to make sure you haven't inadvertantly installed any AdWare products / toolbars etc.

could be that he is in the US.

In the us healthcare is much more privatised, and spends MUCH more on advertising than this side of the pound.

It's a work PC so should be clean. Uses a US proxy server though... Thankfully it seems to have gone now.

    Re: Annoying flash advert

Ah, the adserver probably thought you were US then. When this happens you get ads that are a lot less targeted than when visiting from the UK. I would guess that Hexus has a lot less control over what you receive too.

I got a lot of very strange looking ads when connecting through a German satellite connection.
