how many exams are there like that at uni

/me thinks he may still stand a chance of getting a degree

sadly, that was only my first and i'm at the end og my second year

but i like the way coursework is 50% of the overall grade, it gives you a really good chance of passing it. Unfortunately last semester wasnt very well set out cos one of the subjects (the one i failed) the 2 25% pieces of course work were tests! and i'm poo at tests/exams, so i got an E. Luckily tho, i dont need to resit that one.

In fashion with my group of friends (we all got As and Bs in 1st year) i got:
protiens - D (helped by the fact my examined essay got a C)
Immunology - D (helped by the fect i handed in an essay that got a B)
Neuroscience - E (because the coursework was non existant)

my chemistry modules are year long so i dont sit them till the summer

BTW - GamezFreak just brought up exam boards, I did really well in my GCSE OCR exams but not so well with AQA ... that could explain slightly my so crappy grade.

ideally, i wanna go to warwick, its a really nice place, but they want 350 points....

really, i aint done that well in my jan exams so im not sure any more, warwick is pretty much a no now, but birmingham uni is looking a disctinc possibility

most of the courses only need 60 -200 points and the tuition fee's should be that bad there either. Plus i get to meet the man himself

last time a posted a long message to this thread mozilla crashed before i sumbitted it .

Maths:
Mechanics 1 - 100/100 - A
Mechanics 2 - 86/100 - A
Mechanics 3 - 48/100 - E (er yeah something went wrong here..lol)
This means that in the summer to get an A at alevel maths i need 57/100 in Pure 3 or something like that should be ok)

Physics:
No modules, but currently on a B.

Computing:
That module with the really long title... - B - 4 under A, so overall I am now 2 below A Grade

Chemistry:
Chains and Rings (retake) - B - 1mark off A
Chains, rings and Spec - C
Overall B iirc...

General Studies:
The cultural domain - 41?/90 - E - Couldn't really care less
I was once told that all subjects with studies in were useless: General studies, Sports studies, Media studies etc...

Need ABB for Southampton, so hopefully should be able to get that
