Just for the record, if you WHERE to put petrol and only petrol in a microwave, whilst it wouldn't heat up, you might build enough of a charge for a nice big arc. That'd be bad.
Dr Percy Spencer, inventor of the microwave, said "I would rather anything than die of an internal burn" .
I would take his implicit advice and not play with it.

There are plenty of video's of people doing dangerous things with Microwaves on YouTube, I suggest anyone who wants to see what happens watch those instead of trying this sort of thing at home.
