I almost... almost! just got myself infected with a virus.

I recieved a PM on facebook from a friend with a link to a video and just "LOL" as the message.. nothing abnormal there, so clicked it.

It was a text link but redirected to *That was rather silly wasn't it... LINK REMOVED*

Very crafty indeed, i've had to install updates for flash to see videos before and only after I clicked to install and saw the URL did i realize what was behind this.

Not everyone on hexus is as computer savvy as the rest of us. They *may* assume that a link in a thread is safe to click on. And unfortuntely with links, you don't get a warning as to what's behind it... That link could have been a link to information *about* the virus, not the actual virus itself!
