Fireside Quizzes - Stuck on a few...

These are driving me nuts so I have come in a quest for knowledge...

    First Quiz...

Clues are items of household furniture.
eg. Turkish Delight = Ottoman, This never tells lies = mirror, This gown might be worn in hospital = wardrobe.

One occupant of these has to climb - ?
A favourite in the past for the unemployed - ?
A necessity for the IT experts study - ?
The cooked turkey needs one - ?
Tony likes to think he is master here - ?

    Second Quiz...

    Major cities of the world
eg. To wander about = Rome, Cut through the conflict = Warsaw

To go up in flames - ?
Shares in this house - ?

I know you can do it

    Good work so far people!

Was thinking Carver too and it does seem like the best option.
