System made Stuck what to do !

I recenlty decided to make a nice system, but have run into troubles.

Heres the spex i somehow ended up with

    2.8c HT @ 234 FSb 3277
    Msi 875p Fis2
    Asus 9800 XT
    Kingmax 433 DDR
    Pioneer 105
    Q-tec 550w (external surge protection)
    Vapochill Titanium PE

The problem is, that this is crap how do u reckon i should pursue Future upgrades, fast memory and spank up the Fsb or faster CPU. Im a little confused as to best get the best out of this rig. Any suggestions would be much apprecated.

The only 'dodgy' thing you have is the Q-Tec, I wouldn't trust one with a vapo.

    Quit showing off.

Nice way to welcome a newcomer to the site.....

hyper, what sort of problems are you having as that's quite a nice setup (bar the PSU) so there shouldn't be any need to call it crap. What do you use your system for?

I'd say it would be pretty good for nearly everything you could throw at it once you get a decent Enermax of Antec PSU in there.

As for future-proofing? Don't bother. As soon as something new comes out, by the time it'll be with you, it'll be out of date!

should have waited for BTX and Socket 775 to be honest as well as DDR2 and PCI express support - only kidding, but Big Al was right, as soon as you get something - its out of date.

PC makers change their parts faster than Man Utd change their kits

I'd be happy with that spec, tho indeed not with the PSU. Big Al's right, Enermax or Antec would be heaps better. Maybe some Buffalo ram if u got money to burn.

    Maybe consider CWT psu's? too?

I agree with about 15million other people ^ and say the PSU is the only that could be changed. Other than, maybe some corsair RAM if you have lots of money

THx for the answers, and i know im lucky to have this PC, it took me ages of hard labour to earn.(no really) What im saying is that atm im getting a 3220 overclock at 1:1 ratio ram settings, Would i be better of using a different ratio and clocking higher. Or should i perhaps buy faster ram and go for a massive overclock or go for a faster CPU and go for a 230 fsb overclock? Just to have the rig as fast as possible, a vapochill and a 2.8 @ 3220 seems like such as waste of vapochill thats all.

To be honest i mainly play games, all my other system have died quickly one was sfrom Time (ok laugh) and the other from a local clone store, So i made this one myself there machines are obviously crap.

There is no point going for a new processer, as that 2.8HT should overclock a long way. Havent people been getting them to 3.6ghz-ish?

I would suggest getting some new RAM. As that 433 is not overclocked much.

Have you tried increaseing the voltage for the RAM?

    would suggest:
    corsair
    OCZ
Twinmoss (not sure if they do a 433mhz module)

AFAIK people with unlocked AMD processors reduce the multiplier and increase the FSB to get the best out of their machine, so more FSB has to be the way. Better RAM is definately needed then.

I would also suggest OCZ and Corsair for high speed.
