the fxx is not street legal so should really not be on the board

I can't actually believe that some people genuinely think there's a possibility that Michael Schumacher is the actual, proper Stig!
I mean this with all due respect*, but
*BELLLLMMMM*
*cough*
Exactly, my missus was on facebook on her phone at the time and apparently loads of peoples status were coming up as 'omg. schuey's the stig'. How they could not see the connection between the most exclusive Ferrari being there the day they happen to have him in the studio is beyond me.
In the internets, no one can hear you sarcasm.
So even with Schumy at the wheel it was slower than the Caparo.

I wanna know if they are going to repair the Liana.
James May made reference on his Twitter that of course Michael Schumacher is NOT the stig, just for that episode as people have speculated to drive the fXx round the course as I bet the topgear stig / test drivers could not get or afford the insurance to do so.
Otherwise another good episode, I don't think we'll ever see Jeremy do so much manual labour again! And looking at the promo at the beginning of the episode there is some great stuff to come.
Oh and hurrah for iPlayer having missed the beginning I happily watched again using my PS3's browser on the TV...

:: of all the things i've lost i miss my mind the most ::
he can't be the Stig for many many reasons but the biggest give away was when Clarkson said "does anyone want to see Schumacher's lap in the Liana?" Now if he was the stig we had already seen his lap.

I tuned into the program literally as "The Stig" was taking off his helmet and I was genuinely surprised and very confused. However, a quick bit og Googling afterwards removed my fear that a German is the Stig.
That fxx lap was just amazing. The car actually scares me.
Anyone else notice Top Gear seems really dumbed down this season? Specifically the intros... "Tonight, we shout at the government, a man drives a subaru through a building, a dog goes in a car..." I know it's probably supposed to be funny... but it's not really.

I loved the first episode but #2 and #3 were rather 'meh'
Well top gear was hardly intellectual to start with, but you're right last nights episode seemed a bit slow all round.
Next week should be good, purely because the Army is involved. The episodes involving them tend to be excellent.
Yeah it wasn't a great one yesterday. The first small car bit was boring, the second was made a bit pointless by their selections. If anyone reads evo they will have seen the small car tests from a month or so back which was far more topgear relevant as they were for enthusiasts not people who buy tiny diesel engined crappers. It's a shame they missed that opportunity tbh because all 6 small cars chosen were **** imo, and the 500 now I think about it.
Loved the Ken block stuff that was just an amazingly well executed film with amazing shots.. lovely.
Had to laugh at that comdians metro story because it was just so true to life and he had the old A series metro down perfectly
