There was a guy at my church used to wear a Bolt Thrower t shirt.

without fail. Don't know if he was doing it to prove a point of something. The amusing thing is that he clearly considered warhammer a massively nerdy hobby.
That and Battletech - although that was saved for w/es too long winded for lunchtime. I actually bought Battletech rules of a chap on ebay - got together with my old pals from school and tried to play - OMG talk about complicated!!!!
However we settled for a game of Talisman and several bottles of wine
I never got into Batteltech, but loved playing this...

... I realy should have been out more during secondary school trying to get drunk rather than playing this and painting hoards of Ultramarines !.
I had a pal who was really into Satr Trek and I think (rattles memory) that he played that with his group at school - but we stuck to mainly D&D moved to AD&D and tried MERP, Warlock and Warhammer for a little - but truth is that my best memories are from AD&D. One of our physics teachers was very into 'live roleplaying' - he used to go down the Chislehurst caves - an outfit called Labyrinthe and we all got into it from there really. Many a luch hour in the physics lab - and being an adult we respected def added to the mystery and made him a fantastic DM, so engrossing
