    Plane crashes into ocean (again!)

It appears as if another Airbus 300 series has crashed into water flying through possibly stormy weather. Mostly on board were French citizens.

    I'm sorry.

It wasn't deliberetley made to offened.

It was a light hearted comment. A bit like Pedobear. Not taking into account the serious side of subject at hand. That was dumb.

    Sorry

Mistakes get made, we've all put our foot in it at some point, don't sweat it!

Nothing worse then a plane crash & the hopelessness that goes with looking for survivors, its a miracle one was saved tbh!

On a different line of thought i wouldn't want to be in charge of the Airbus 3 series line up, or their stock holders atm. Two crashes in as many weeks is gunna raise a lot of eyebrows about their airworthiness!

As opposed to what series? That's like a boeing 747 crashing and saying that therefore 787s and all other 7 series planes are unsafe.

It doesn't really matter who made the plane anyway - if it's not maintained properly then it's a problem.

From the time I travelled to the UK for my studies, I used to return home during each holiday; that's 5 flights a year. For the most part I flew on my national carrier, SriLankan Airlines, as well as Emirates.

SriLankan only fly A380s these days and the advantage here is they are the only airline from Colombo to offer direct flights to and from London daily; Emirates on the other hand means flying via Dubai.

I'm with Kalniel on the 'maintenance' issue.

There a few reports flying around about the airline company this plan was owned by. Seems they did not think maintenance of an aircraft a top priority.

    Another sad loss of life!

Nothing else appears to have been mentioned. Wonder if this time they'll find the black box.* The one over the Atlantic I think they're on the verge of giving up over. :/

*Edit - appears they have :

My mistake, just had a google of the Airbus & Boeing line ups and im thinking along car terms (im an auto engineer)...3 series are smaller then 4 series which are again smaller then 5 series etc.
