    Re: What truely lovely weather!

its not that lovely in southport. chucked it down last night, loads of roads flooded, a few houses exploded with lightning , i havent got a roof on my house, just the felt and batons. my sisters ceiling caved in a bit more than it did a few weeks ago.

today - i've been sweating like a sweaty thing, drank 4 litres of water, currently eating pepsi max, blackcurrant and orange flavoured ice lollies, and i'm still hot. 25.7 degrees C in my room is causing the RAM in my computer to become too hot. first time its been above 45C, usualy 30 ish. the memorys monitored by external probes.

so all in all, i'm having a wonderful time. thanks for asking

The joy of working early shifts in summer. Finished at 14:00 so nice quiet unpacked trains in London on way home. 4 hours lounging in the garden enough for today, not a cloud in the sky and therm saying 30c (in the shade)

P.S Feel sorry for work colleagues using the tube (especially in rush hour) must be terrible!

did you get any exploding houses though?

blackpool did, which is 20 miles north, you're 20 miles south, just thought there might have been a common theme in that massive storm.

it was fun sitting in the loft watching all the drips, couldnt see out the windows the rain was that heavy, heard VERY loud thunder and various bangs then realised the whole outside of my house has 'higher than the roof' metal scaffolding on. theres a few churches nearby, so hopefully they'll get hit instead of us if the storm comes back again.

had fun riding around on scooter today, quite a lot of women wearig short skirts which are just the right height for eyeline level while sitting on scooter

Its sheer bliss during the days (sorry to all of you at work!) but a bugger during the nights. The novelty has worn off though, suns gone & im left sitting inside melting again!
