I hate people

It's like everything nowadays really...

i mean how hard is it to hold a door for someone? yet that is majorly on the decline...

Another one is bus drivers... the amount of people that don't even speak to them, every morning i got on the bus said hello to him,asked if he was okay and then went to sit down, said cheers when i got off, and i was about the only one that did...
At the end of the year it got to the point that i knew all of the bus drivers that did the route, i never had to show my bus pass or if i forgot my pass i didn't have to pay, they started dropping me off outside my house instead of the other end of the village, they wave when they see me, 1 of them stops to say hello if he sees me. All it took was a little bit of courtesy... It doesn't cost anything, takes no time out of your life... and yet people don't do it...

Stuff like that makes all the difference, when I had to visit my mum in hospital it was over a half hour ride & in the evening I was usually the only passenger - all the drivers were great, we got into chats etc, one used to give me Cadbury's chocolate eclairs & one waived my fare a couple of times. If either they or I had just sat there in silence it would have been a miserable trip. Used to know a lot of the local drivers too and from talking to them it always came across that they had not much to write home about in in the way of working conditions & precious little appreciation, yet they were still all good sorts - conscientious & good attitude - so the last thing they need is thankless passengers.

Off topic slightly, but atm I truly hate part of the human race.

It's that part that thinks it should get what it wants NOW. Right this SECOND. And gets really pissy when I can't deliver.

Specifically in relation to rat kittens.

Either I'm not doing it fast enough - "no madam, you CAN'T have the babies at 3 or 4 weeks old, they are not WEANED" NB When I say it takes nine weeks from successful conception to homing that is what I mean. No I have NOT miscounted.

Or I don't have the "right" colours - Mother Nature doesn't DO home delivery. Or when I won't let them have the two "pretty" ones - well MADAM if I let YOU have both of them, what about the next person on my list????

Pardon me for wanting to be as fair as possible when I have interesting kittens and "boring" kittens - and don't get me started on people defining my babies as "boring"

And then there are the people who reserve kittens and then disappear into the ether. How much effort does it take to reply to an email? Even a simple "No thanks" or "not interested" would do it.

People suck.

why is it a bad thing that people are asking for a discount? Plenty of places give a discount for cash or debit cards because they pay high credit card fees, I always try to pay in cash at this tiny little restraunt on my street because i know what their profit margins are like.

Now your shop is closing, get over it. Life is harsh you don't know about the situations of the shoppers, plenty of them might have it worse! Even those who don't can you blame them for wanting it at a best bargin price?

I see what you are saying, it was the way it was said, with a kind of wink. As I said, the implication was that if thyey payed cash, they could skip the VAT or something like that. We charged 2% top the customer for credit cards as thats what the bank charged us. This was about 10 years ago though.

unfortunatly people follow media far too much, recession is on so become a git, i work in a game shop and every single shift someone comes up with a full price game and asks for discount and says its a recession you know, well tbh its obviously not effecting them that badly if they can afford £40 new games when they see fit.

Some people say it in a jokey way and its funny and some people just are out right rude, but as said above its always the "posh" looking people that give attitude on discounts, the same people that turn their nose up at you when you offer a pre owned and cheaper option :/.

But yes general rudeness is very high in stores, especially with people complaining, when will people understand that a person on a till is not the head of a company and they do not deserve a shouting at if anything shout at the manager.

The same could be said about a shop worker who is having it hard!

Having said that everyone gets delt bad hands from time to time, its how we play them thats the mark of the man.

But either way, people shouldn't be grumpy just because someone tries to negociate!
