Taking into account the sheer quantity of content on the BBC News website, the number of errors are negligible. Definitely worth alerting them though, well done you.

    Re: BBC Grammatical/Punctuation Errors

The English language is in decline, sadly the most articulate and possibly most emotive language in the world has fallen victim to degredation, mostly infested by americanisms, text speak and downright bad manners. On a positive note, ,most of this has taken place in England, and Scotland remains a bastion of the English Language, spelling and pronunciation are perfect. but only if you are slightly north of Inverness and don't support football.

Its a real shame that the last stronghold of the English language, produced verbatim does fall into the hands of a north eastern village in a country not beloving of the Crown State, but then, if the english cannot actually speak their own language in a coherent and non belligerent fashion, who is left?

Not being from this particular part of Scotland, I do have this to say,

its really a beautiful language, when spoken by italians

im gonna get it for this one
