Stevie, it would be easier if you got the games that require Steam (TF2, L4D), and leave the others if you don't have the cash (if you catch my drift ). You can wait and see if they go on special offer in the next couple of months; I would imagine there might be some sort of offer when L4D2 comes out.

Colleague of mine from work... has wanted to come with me on a LAN for about a year and a half... and finally got his butt in gear. I've played COD4 with him a few times.

I can reserve sleeping space again. I might bring my tent again, but didn't need to use it last time. They had new curtains all along the race track side, so you weren't blinded by the sun last time. However, they didn't bother with the other side. Anywhere in particular you want? Don't think it'll make much difference snoring wise...

how about a fold-up wheelchair? roughly 60x80x30 cm when folded, I've found one thats comfy and i can also use for carting my stuff around (wherever it needs carting), solves 2 problems in one then.


i will sort some stuff out tomorrow and let you lot know.


left 4 dead 2 is pencilled in for 20/11/09 according to game - its slipped a few weeks since i last looked. we might not be playing it at the LAN.
