    Dear Lord,
please may the BBC in all its current glory live forever,
    Amen.

It sounded more like a trailer for a robbery film than a news story.

That's american ACTION! news, it the same as regular news, but it's louder, it's faster and it's less informative.
It's the same news but because it's loud and it's fast, it's better!

Why mac's? becuase not only will people pay more for them, they'll also pay more for them off "some block down the pub" or the US equivelent.

And considering the level of intelligence and organistion or most crime, this was organised.
They waiting for the guard to go off on his rounds away from the store, then quickly got in, grabed the stuff and got out.
They didn't take more than they could run with, they went for specific items and did so in an obsiously pre-planed order.

Some thought had gone must of gone into that includeing checking the place out before hand to know where everything was.

"Hello, I need a new power supply for my mac book, I . . . err . . . lost my old one."
"Certanily sir, if you would just tell me the serial number on your mac book."

"Ok, now if you'll just give me your name and address, so we can ship that out to you."

"thank you sir, have a nice day."

"Hey Bob! I've got another name and address to be forwarded on to the police."

Re: How to rob an Apple store:

Bet Apple wish they'd never invented MagSafe now..

Power supplies are hardly an issue, they could easily get them from eBay from third party retailers (eBay doesn't care about multiple accounts so they'd just have to find a big e-store to buy from). If they've got any nouse they'll either sell them as is on the street - no need for a power supply - or they'll drip feed them so they can just buy the odd power cable when they need to. With the iPods, all they need is a USB cable and you can buy them 10 to the dozen on the internet.

Not entirely sure why they didn't have shutters, besides the security guard. I thought initially that it was literally inside a mall (so no need), but it's on the outside as the news clip shows - a lot of shops where i live don't have shutters in the centre of town either though.
