I saw a "book now for Christmas" sign up last month when I was out delivering (out towards Louth iirc)
i saw christmas lights up on someone's house at the start of September.
I wonder why the halloween stuff goes on sale so early. Christmas stuff, too. I guess one theory is that by having stuff out early, they can advertise their wares to customers for when they do decide to go halloween shopping. On the other hand, I guess it could just be that there's enough people buying stuff early that it's worth the shelf space, supply & demand etc. If it is that, then if anyone here sees anyone buying cheap mass-produced halloween tat early, would you do me a favour and punch them in the face? Ta.
Yup mince pies were in Tesco a few weeks ago. Their sell by date was October, so they wont even last!
Heard a Xmas jingle on radio today. Bloody annoys me. Should make it illegal to advertise Xmas stuff before December!
i bought some scary haribo the other day. spooky.
How do you think i feel!! I work security for B&M's. And they have Halloween stuff out, have done since 1st september, AND they have Christmas stuff out, 2 full isles dedicated to Christmas. Apparently the christmas cd's start soon. Joy!
