missed one of my best friends 21st...and i know i'm going to pay dearly for pretty much the rest for my life for it. so i desperately need to get her something...any ideas, oh and nothing computery - she's not into that sort of thing. please help save my life - if you don't hear from me in about a week alert the police to search for finely chopped person somewhere in the south of england, most probably the new forest...!

What about a day out somewhere? Manacure or something fancy like that, then it not really specific to the date of her birthday (by that I mean even if you had told her on her birthday the present wouldn't have actually been on that specific date), this might ease the pain of you missing the big day.

hehe! oh, i'll go down to local rough pub, get beaten up a bit and then give her present and card etc. the following day exclaiming that i'd had a difficult time wrestling with the tigers on my way through india to bring her the presnet but i got there in the end...? think it'll wash at all?
