    strangely enough, i feel it.... i dont tend to like sitting infront of pedestal/desk fans because of this

    I just hope he doesnt change his name to miles with all this recent inventing and start coming up with computer systems...

    Actually, I lie - you can feel it, but really only how you've explained, maybe if your sitting quite near it. I tend to place fans further away on one side of a room, so I guess the airflow smooooths out.

    A combination of the technologies used in turbochargers and jet engines generates powerful airflow.
    ...all of which seems to me to mean that the actual fan blades are hidden in the base!
