When I said dresses inappropriately, I meant she dresses like one of the other screwed-in-the-head popstars like Madonna or Rihanna. She should remember that she is a role model for kids.

Whoever takes a pop singer or an actor as a role model needs their head examined(unless they are looking to enter the business though). They are there to make money(and pander to the market they are targeting) and it is doubtful if their on stage or on screen persona is anything like they are really like in real life.

Well she caused controversy before with the Vanity Fair shoot...

And the comment about not taking pop stars as idols, easy to say that as an adult, but as an impressionable 10 year old, who knows, she might be appealing.
I certainly think there is an over sexualisation of teen and pre teen culture these days.

I don't think there is anything wrong with Miley Cyrus, I'm a huge Metallica fan, my favourite band ever - but I also own 2 Miley Cyrus CDs, I think the music is quite 'fun' - some songs are actually really good. I think she's got a hell of a voice, and she's a lovely looking lass (I'm allowed to say that and not get arrested, I'm only 20!).
I'm pretty sure she's never done anything most normal teenagers wouldn't do - but everybody knows about it when she does it!

was this whole thread just a clever ruse by OilSheikh to get people to admit to owning her music?

Metallica vs Miley Cyrus, now there's a Dj Hero mash-up if i've ever seen one.
