    Ebay woes

    Hopefully someone here can help

I bought a pentium 4 chip from someone on ebay quoted as being "Fully working and tested!". Anyway, alot of pins are bent, so as it stands it doesn't work at all >:/

I have tried contacting this person several times and had no response. I know he is 'active' because he has been adding new items for sale since my first email to him.

Is there anything I can do?

    Cheers

Have you threatened to leave negative feedback?

Or perhaps contacted ebay about it? In some circumstances they should be able to provide contact details so you can phone him asking him for a refund.

You could also try using "ask seller a question" because then the email comes from ebay...

ta josh, yeah tried the ask seller question thingy. When my sis gets home Im gonna get her to ask a question about an item to see if she gets a response.

Failing that, I'll have to give ebay a shout, yay

You can get contact details about the person, including phone number. Ive used it before I even received the item. Gl.

Have you tried getting the number of his company?
I think his postal address is a company one......
Btw, it sucks if he bought the chip, from me, broke it and then sold it on as 100% retail.
    What a potential creep....

Btw, he has yet to give me any feedback although I gave him one positive. He bought 2 items off me, so I've still got one in reserve.
He was very chatty when he was trying to buy 3 items from me.
How did you pay for the chip?

PS The chip I sold was 100% working order and I defo didn't sell it as retail.

Paypal. I got a reply from him last night, seems ****ing rude to me, saying "by all means return it, but if the pins are only slightly bent and it works, you'll pay all postage". I think I'll mention the fact I saw he bought it a few days before..

tbh, I'd take the money and then slate him....he might just be a little bit dodgy also it might not be the same chip.....
or worst case if you get cheeky now he might just screw you over and keep your money.....
