Must have been an expensive and in depth investigation it seems.
It's all a bit daft really. We've got
David Cameron: Family is important, we Conservatives will take steps to ensure its survival.
David Cameron: We will save the British family by giving tax breaks to married couples who live together
David Cameron: You don't need to be rich to be a good parent, just look after your kids properly.
So money is irrelevant to being a good parent, but tax breaks for couples who stay together are the answer? Presumably then, if the money has no tangible benefit on the family, the only "benefit" can be that it bribes people who want to separate to stay together.
So dysfunctional families are fine, as long as the parents stay together. But I thought he said the main thing was to look after the kids well, which would surely indicate that the parents need to be happy, whether that means being together or apart.
All sounds like bluster to me.
Ah yes, our next prime minister.
Is it me or does David Cameron look like Jeremy Kile in all those conservative posters?
