I think half the problem with General Discussion is the people who try to be funny in an irrelvant fashion to the original thread and thus derail any discussion generated in a series of "lol look at this".



That said, I dunno what you really expect, it's an internet forum, you get good stuff and bad stuff, the trick is not bothering to read the bad stuff, particularly if it's more than a page worth of 1 line posts.

Alternatively, just simply compile a list of your favourite posters, and do a search for whatever they've posted to and read those threads only. If you pick Saracan, make sure to set aside at least 3 hours a day due to the post lengths
