heh sorry, was just trying to point out some things.

The actual rate of interest for servicing debt on the card isn't bad at all.

The problem is the £250 annual fee, which is distorting the APR.

There is also little offered for this fee.

The quip about agency girls and the amex is these cards are not for the super rich, they are for the wealthy. The superrich don't give a damn about any of the 'benefits' they are so rich they wouldn't notice them anyway. Free first class flight, pfft thats only £2k saving, its not worth the effort.

So its only the wealthy club, and they should be able to expect a LOT more than they are been offered by natwest for £250 a month. That was kind of my point, rather than shaming the club 500k as been agency girl toting salesmen.

Erm, I think you need to learn to read the small print. It's £250/year.

I've got a black credit card. They offered me black or white when I opened my account and I said 'I'll take black my fine fellow', or something to that effect...

    I'll get me coat.

My personal favourite is the emergency help, they will also offer you £2k credit instantly, anywhere in the world, they also seem able to up that if your eligible.

Most of the pay bank accounts are for people who are borrowing a lot of money all too often, I've yet to find one that is as good value as the free ones out there if your willing to skip bank.
I don't pay for mine (probably never would pay for one of these) but some features are useful, holiday insurance is a good one, using that benefit this year. Mobile insurance was good but the don't cover touchscreens The additional warranty is good, takes me back to when I had a Barclaycard that did it & I claimed on a 2yr old ex-display amp that went kaput, glad I got my PS3 on it now!

You would probably find so long as you + partner have combined 25k per annum account turnover that if you switched bank you would get the benefits for free, then if you just told your manager you would leave, you would get them for free or as good as free.
