Seriously though, do you *really* expect a 10" OLED screen on a device in this price bracket? Maybe I'm out of touch OLED screen prices, but I think you're being just a tad unreasonable...
If your spending this much anyway do you think they're bothered about any extra cost - the boundaries of sanity have already been crossed.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Me personally? I'm quite happy with the LCD display, but I'd readily admit it's not very high quality going from my experiences with a latest gen ipod touch.

Is it really that much of a problem for apple fans to have their devices labelled as not having the best displays? I thought form was more important.

I disagree. For a start, 'boundaries of sanity' depend on many factor a number of which are subjective or at least down to individual requirements and means. Apple may not want to associate themselves with entry level products, but even they know that no matter how strong their brand, or how loyal their customers (and even that is no binary - some people are more 'loyal' than others) pricing is never going to be completely, or even remotely close to being inelastic.

No, but at this price bracket I expect a bloody good one.

The resolution of this one is one that was cheap and redily available.

It is not good for watching video resolution files imho, this is a big deal.

It is not an e-ink screen, how can it be any good for book reading.

Re: What's wrong with Apple products?

I don't think this is an argument that will ever be settled, we can expect many more years of bickering...

Personally I don't have any problem with Apple products. However, I would never buy any. Why? personal preference. With a home computer I prefer PCs because I can decided: what it looks like, how quick it is, how much storage I have, if it can handle the latest games... then I can decide what OS it has. Portable media player: Creative, because I can decide which software i want to use with it and where I buy my music online (open market, more competition) i.e. I am not tied to itunes.

Long and short is I don't buy apple because I like to have control of my technology, and I like having options open to me and not to have all of my choices predetermined by the hardware I purchase.

What I don't like is being attacked by apple fanboys for my personal preference, and its for that reason that I'm not going to tell someone that they are stupid for buying apple (even if I think it ), because its their choice and if they are happy and it works for them whats the problem?
