Was i right to threaten a 12 yo girl?

My sister (whos 12) got into an argument at school today, some girl was pushing her, so my sister slapped her round the face. so the usual after school riot started, big gang of kids follow my sister up to my car, i get out to see what the fudge is going on. some teacher comes over and explains it to me, while this girl and her mates are shouting abuse at my sister and saying there gonna beat her up. the gang splits up and i get in car with my sister and her friend. were driving down the road, and my sister says "there she is", so i pull up and get out, and say nice and calmly "can you hear me? good, touch my sister and i'll break your <insert you know what her> legs" get in my car and drive off. am i a mean bully who picks on small children or a good big brother

you havent done anything wrong, but either they beat her up as retaliation to your threat, or they are scared and leave her alone.

Nah, I'd do the same thing. Sometimes people like that only respond to their own language.

And if she has a big Brother, you might have to go 12 rounds with him.

Was it your sister's fault at all? If not, then I'd say that she (the other girl, not your sister) got what she deserved!

Similar scenario happened to me. For a week my little brother was telling me how this boy at school kept bullying him, and how he had told the teacher but they didn’t help. So I turned up after school one day and grabbed the boy by his hand, the boy then began crying and shaking, and I hadn’t even said a word. When I finally told him to leave my brother alone all he was saying was “sorry” “I’m sorry”.

Maybe it was wrong, but It felt good.

    Can I sell tickets?

I think you were just being a big brother. I mean seriously I guess we would all stick up for our siblings. BTW, you then find out she has a bigger brother who does kick boxing ... then you are for it!

how about next time we organise a hexus-non-bullying rally, and go beat up some pushy kids? I know I'd feel a lot better for sticking up for the little kids .. . .

plus i might just get into a fight that I can win!

I think you were right to do something... however I don't think that you used the right words.... something said intentionally fierce but not threatening can sometimes have a better impact.

But like you say, some people only respond to there own language.
