    Post Dr. Steve, perhaps?

    Come October I'll be embarking on an epic PhD quest in the area of software power optimisation.

    It'll be putting my CSE degree to good use as I'll be working from the compiler right down to microarchitecture and RTL level, hopefully interfacing with various EDA tools.

    It's going to be a fun 3 or 4 years!
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I'm Dr Pollaxe, technically... My PhD (History) was hell. Mainly due to cock-ups by other people. I hope it's less hellish for you!

    Sounds good, best of luck

    I'm in 2 minds whether to do a postgrad degree, another undergrad degree in mathematics or to try and get a job and then do one of the 2 part time while working

    I must admit I've recently been thinking about doing another degree; but I think it's mainly because I want to relive my student days then anything else! I'm not exactly using my current degree at the moment...

    Anyway, good luck and start practicing name dropping your new title.

    I'm another in that position. Postgrad in psychology or undergrad in something else. I'm leaning towards something else.

    You may want to look into training as a therapist/psychologist, my mum did a similar degree part time and has worked with victim support, marriage counselling and other areas
