No, thats just his normal facial expression..
Honest? He's one of the most human politicians, so it's nice to see that, someone who is flawed, but is strong, direct and honest! Not looking forward to this new government though...
Can't believe that Obama called up so quickly!
Your confusing this Gordon Brown with another, clearly..
Whats the betting over the next few months we find out that we've been lied to about the state of the economy and that theres a lot of gaps between what has been covered in the media and whats actually gone off..
Clegg is deputy PM apparently according to the BBC
Oh balls, Osborne as Chancellor
William Hague as foreign secretary and Liam Fox as defence secretary..
Hrm.

An excellent speach from DC, and I thought this quote really summed up the difference between Labour and Conservative rather nicely. And I want to help try and build a more responsible society here in Britain, one where we don't just ask, 'Where are my entitlements?' but, 'What are my responsibilities?' Where we don't ask, 'What am I owed?' but more, 'What can I give?'
The LibDems have approved the deal.
It needed 75% of MPs and 75% of federal Executive, and according to departing members as the meeting broke up, approval was virtually unanimous. All MPS approved it, and all but one of the Federal Executive approved it, and it needed 9 (I think) of the FE voting it down for it to go to the next stage of the triple lock.
There has still been no official statement (expected from Clegg imminently) but it looks like a done deal.
Provisional Cabinet lineup ...
PM - David Cameron
Deputy PM - Nick Clegg
Chancellor - George Osborn
Foreign Sec - William Hague
Health Sec - Andrew Lansley
Defence Sec - Liam Fox
Home Sec - ???
Justice Sec - ???
Energy and CC - Chris Huhne (LD)
Business and Banks - Vince Cable (LD)
Scottish Sec - Danny Alexander (LD)
Education Sec - David Laws (LD)
Michael Gove appears to have lost his Education remit to David Laws, but there's speculation of him ending up as Home Sec.
As I write, some of the above are confirmed, mainly PM, Deputy PM, Chancellor and Foreign Sec. The rest are largely very strong rumours.
How much power does a Deputy PM hold? And does that mean that Clegg would be next in line should anything happen to Cameron? Not bad at all for 57 seats.
Get orf, it's an obvious mimic of JFK's inaugural address:And I want to help try and build a more responsible society here in Britain, one where we don't just ask, 'Where are my entitlements?' but, 'What are my responsibilities?' Where we don't ask, 'What am I owed?' but more, 'What can I give?'
Still, I suppose if you're going to copy, copy the best. Better that our new PM comes up with his own ideas though. And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.
I'm actually quietly optimistic about this (which is probably stupid but there you go.)
I'm assuming Mandelson was chased out of his office by someone wielding a crucifix and garlic. Hateful, hateful man; I was deeply cheered to hear he left Downing Street looking 'ashen' (probably the sun's rays, burning him away.) Already there is some speculation the Digital Economy Bill will be repealed, along with ID cards and sundry other idiocy.
Whilst I still blame Gordon Brown for a lot of the bad stuff that happened I actually didn't mind him personally. I thought him a lot more likeable than Ed Balls, Yvette Cooper and some of the other movers and shakers that buzzed around him, for example.
It could all fall apart very quickly but let's wait and see. I haven't been this hopeful and, God help me, as interested in politics for a long time.
Reiterating the thoughts of others; I think this is a positive step. Really looking forward to see how this pans out over the next couple of months (and beyond), but very glad that Lib Dems are onboard.
I hope that what this agreement shows is that the Tories are no longer just 'the same old Tories' and that as times have changed they have modernised to reflect this. Both parties have some great policies and I hope they follow through with some of the key issues/points they've raised throughout the campaign.
No doubt both parties are going to have to deal with the back-lash of unhappy voters; but I think that if they manage to make a positive impact over the coming years this will truely be a huge feat in itself.. and hopefully their direction will put us back on the right road.
Oh and good news that there will hopefully be no more wasted money on the ID card scheme!
One thing that gladdens the heart is a partner from BGC, (who does not like Vince Cable) was described as apoplectic that Vince Cable has been put in charge of banks! Good!

I too watched it on bbc news,
I gotta admit I don't know why but i lol'd when the news reader said that he is leaving number 10 and is now going to live in Scotland, (it must have been the way they said it)
What made me go 'meh' last night was the amount of people complaining on facebook that Eastenders was interupted to report this news.
These people should get a grip. Why do they care more about a rubbish soap about an area so dodgy that the HSE should pop round and look into Walford as it appears the life-expectancy of people in this area is lesser than some third world country.
I bet it will be the same people complaining in a few weeks time when all the tories tax policys come to bite them on their ass...
