We can share if you like?
TBH I'd struggle to feel guilty about a text based sig, and even more so for devices with such a low res (which will struggle anyway). Perhaps a mobile version of hexus would be more appropriate? Most smartphones are significantly higher in res now anyway and eventually Apple will catch up too. Disabling sigs entirely seems a better idea or maybe having 'smart sigs' that only reveal when you hover over them?
I've removed 3 of my systems from the list in any case, along with my useful links for opus/opera. The restriction appears to be height and presumably is measured on a desktop PC rather than an iPhone.
Oh - trust me - there are far more important things in life than iPhone users whims and wants
Yup, we'll be looking at this from a desktop perspective - my laptop runs 1680x1050 on a 15.4" screen, my desktop 1920x1080 on a 23", so I'm highly unlikely to pick up on the wider sigs. That said, it is much appreciated that you've taken the effort to shorten it a little
The same reasoning goes for the difference between 80 and 90 pixels - I'm highly unlikely to notice
Sigs are turned off for me now, it is ridiculous browsing at 800x480 with sigs on tbh
Hmm, do they auto-resize now? If I resize my browser window there aren't any scrolling issues (only happens with pictures).
0iD's off the hook!
EDIT: Actually that's a point, if you resize your window and the CSS changes the forum to match the width, the signatures resize to accommodate (so you might have a picture on a new line). That is, sig height is dependent on your screen width and even a sig of 200 pixels is "fine" and doesn't introduce horizontal scrolling - you'll just have to scroll down a bit more. So surely it's also sig width we should be worrying about?
