I think it would be fairer to say their teams in general don't win anything, so in true "celebrity culture" mass induced Zombeism they gravitate to a club that might have something to celebrate at the end of a year........OH WAIT.....perhaps they'll all be Chelsea fans next year eh!!

And so do my team, c'mon you Cherries...........

    Remember this Past
"Manchester United, the defending FA Cup champions, had lost only one league match away all season when they turned up at Dean Court on January 7, 1984, to play struggling Bournemouth in the third round. The Cherries were fourth from bottom of the Third Division, having lost to basement club Port Vale the week before. And their manager, Harry Redknapp, three months into his first managerial job, was without his captain, John Beck, who had flu.

On the hour Gary Bailey, in the United goal, fumbled a cross and Milton Graham sent the 14,815-strong crowd into raptures with the opening goal. Four minutes later Ian Thompson provided the second. Bournemouth went on to win 2-0, outplaying their illustrious opponents."

    Bournemouth promoted Present
Bournemouth were promoted to League One yesterday after Brett Pitman scored his 27th goal of the season in a 2-0 win at Burton.

This has been a difficult season for Eddie Howe’s club, who played most the season with a transfer embargo placed over them..........and all done with 14 players and loanees!!.

Future.........well we might just stay in league one next year.........SO, any of you unlucky LOSERS this year wanna come and support a decent club?

Eddie Howe has indeed done a really good job and in somewhat adverse cirumstances, most clubs cant suvive without room service so having to get a job done with such a small squad and no new players makes it that much better, so hats off to Mr Howe, Bournemouth and there Fans

    Ditto.

On the other hand, the first test match of the summer started today, so I may have to adapt the general concept into something more appropriate...
