Tegan was ok - when her mouth was shut.
Top annoying assistant = Mel
MSIC (14-06-2010)
Well he was also annoying and an alien who worked for the evil Black Guardian... so I think that ticks all the boxes.
I still can't be gingerist lol
One episode which was bad was the vampire one. Space fish? I mean come on.
Don't knock the space fish.
Watching the latest episode now on iplayer... surprised there's no comment on it on this thread yet.... have you all passed out from excitement?
Edit: Just read page 2. Karen Gillan ROCKS. A totally 2010 assistant.
And as for the best assistant of all time: I give you.. ACE.
Yeah, man. Sylvester McCoy. Those were the days. I saw him in the Pied Piper at the Brum Hippodrome about 1990.

TMI, dude
Edit: "Look at me, I'm a target".
Best line EVER.
OK, watched the whole thing.
that was equal parts "Wow, I can't wait for the next one" and "Hmmm... this is quite turgid crap".
*rolls eyes* OK, so who didn't guess it was a prison FOR him? The "Why don't I know?" and "What COULD you be?" made that pretty clear.
Don't know how they're going to resurrect Amy...
I think Captain Jack will come and save them. Other than that, I find myself not actually given a damn, much as I like Matt Smith.

The cliff thing was a direct rip from Douglas Adams, not sure if I approve or am reviled they stole it...
Thats what I was thinking, the TARDIS has blown up, the Doctor is trapped Amy is dead. Now unless Captain Jack turns up to save the day the only thing I can think of is that the tenth Doctor makes an appearance to save the current Doctor, but I personally don't see that happening either.
Spot the stupid person who forgot to set the video ...I know, iPlayer, but I was going to do the slump-in-front-of-the-tv thing this evening
@ behemoth
It would have been pretty cool if the pandorical had opened and David tennant had stepped out. I read some Who forums last night, and the who-ists were going nuts about how the Pandorican probably contained "The Doctor Dominant", who had split himself off from the main doctor during the regeneration, and it was hinted at in the dream lord episode yadda yadda yadda.
The whole "doctor dominant" thing was a pile of tripe anyway.
But still.... t'would have been cool for Tennant to emerge. Briefly.
