I find that most of the artificial sweetners leave an unpleasant aftertaste - whether it is carbonated or not.
It is not uncommon...

I tend to drink full fat Coca Cola but usually only in Jack Daniel's - the Diet stuff is just plain nasty; to me it tastes like a mouthful of horrible chemicals that probably won't give you super powers. Doesn't it have that Aspartame stuff that Dick Cheney is using as a mechanism for mind control/cancer? Allegedly. Anyway, I'm sure real Coke isn't too good for you either but the diet stuff is just vile.
The only time I can face a glass of Coke is when it's very hot and there's nothing else that's really available. If I'm at the pub and I'm driving it's a pint of orange juice and lemonade for me. (Some call it a Henry or St Clements but I prefer the more laborious title.)
Pepsi Max or Coke Zero
I find diet coke revolting.
I used to think I liked Pepsi Max until trying it again recently, its only a couple of steps above diet coke my preference ladder.
Real coke, because I'm a man
On a serious note, not too fond of fizzy drinks as they make me feel bloated much prefer water or juice. But I do have the occasional pepsi or coca cola, I have tried diet coke once though and to me it tasted awful. A lot of women I know drink it believing it will help them diet.
I keep forgetting that I dislike Diet Coke, ordering it then pulling faces as I drink my way through it (no, I'm not a masochist on a diet: I occasionally have to order it as part of mystery shopping assignments)! I generally avoid buying from Coca Cola though, since they're pretty much the worst (ethically) of the big drinks companies. Not that any of them are saints, mind you.
I'll generally go for Pepsi Max, as far as carbonated Cola-flavour beverages go. I used to love Pepsi Max Twist (the citrus version) but that seems to have been a short-lived special eition: haven't seen it for years
Diet Coke tastes very very bad. Agree with u on that OP.
I prefer Mazaa mango juice OR Fanta strawberry version from middle east
You can get Strawberry Fanta
I have to say, my favourite carbonated beverage of all time is Rubicon's Guanabana, but I've never found it on sale outside of a few shops in Sparkhill in Birmingham...
IIRC all the Tesco's round here (Wokingham so not much use to you) sell Rubicon pop but for some reason it's not with the main pop but in either the "world food" aisle or near the gluten free / long life organic produce bit.
...
Oh and I'm not a fan of Diet Coke or Pepsi Max but I do like Coke Zero (in fact I drink far too much of the stuff)
no..
