Mobile phone issue :(

Is it that it's only you that has sent her messages that are spread across multiple SMS?

Hence, she only notices that shes not receiving texts from you?, Try texting her a long message from a different phone + SIM

Can you alter the message settings to send long messages as an MMS rather than multiple SMS?

You make a good point TAKTAK AFAIK no one else sends her long txts messages, will try your idea when I next speak to her. I'v run out of patience & hit the alcohol cupboard tonight, so im done for now.

Will post back here when i have some new news (tomorrow hopefully), any other ideas are more then welcomed though!

Just wanted to say a thank you again for letting this be left in general discussion. Unfortunetly the problem hasn't sorted itself and no one can explain why. Even abroad sending her a text 2-3 messages long wouldn't get through...but worked fine for other i txted with equally long message. When I split the message into individual messages and sent it as 2-3 individual messages it would work fine. Same story for the UK.

I had a similar issue when I was with O2.

The multi-messages I sent weren't lost as such, but delayed but upto 6 hours in some cases even though the other person was on O2. We'd laugh how I'd text at say 1-2pm and I'd be home for 6 before the messages came through and joked about them being sent by snails.

Since I've jumped providers, I've not had an issue sending long messages.

Have T-Mobile checked their systems to track the delivery & receipt of these messages as it could be network related.

I will give T-mobile another ring tomorrow. They shrugged me off the first time, but ill be damned if their gunna treat me that way after 4 years and some serious mobile bills along the way.

She gets some multi message texts off other people as well without any problems. Single texts still go through fine, my delivery/received notification say they are going through but she doesn't receive them. Some evenings a few multi messages get through, but never often enough for me to see a pattern.

Just to reinforce, she isn't playing around with this/not receiving them. I also understand I agreed to this thread being moved to the correct forum after the first couple of days, I don't want to push my luck so thanks for letting it sit in GD for so long, I am happy for it to be moved to the correct forum!

If it makes you feel any better i had the same problem as you, took hours to send a text, sometimes days! and a picture message...well it timed out! (cant remember what her phone said) was very ticked of, she changed her sim and boom! problem solved...hope you get it sorted mate
