I just got back from seeing it. It's excellent; especially the second half

Saw it last night, while it was good there were a number of issues they didn't really explain which I thought they could have:
* SPOILERS ALERT * (highlight to read)
How they were all in the same dream with that machine was casually glossed over
Why could some of them "fake" real people to the person being decieved (i.e. the godfather / sexy woman in the lift)
The scene at the end when he enters the vault to find his father, what his father says to convince him to become his own man would suggest he was "in" on the plot. Was this meant to be Fischer's sub-conscious acting on all the subliminal messages he got before hand, or was that just a plot hole?
/end of spoilers
Another recommendation for it from me, although the final seconds of the film annoyed me.
I haven't seen it yet, hope to next weekend.
This film currently has a 9.4 rating on IMDB... Although with only 20,000 votes so far this could change yet.
Still, is it really up there with The Godfather, Shawshank, Empire etc???

probably not a classic as such, its just a well written concept which has been executed and produced very well. which most modern films fail to fulfill as they normally blow the budget on either too many special effects with a weak story or one over paid actor etc.
Simply I didnt come out of the cinema wondering if I could of used my £10 on better entertainment for once
And ... it has no swearing or nudity which is a Plus. You can watch it with younger siblings.
Meanwhile, I watched A-Team and it was just too much action, more than I could handle. And I apparently like action movies!!!
saw it last weekend. brilliant movie
Awesome film in many ways, but a little bit confusing and hard to keep track at times but worth while. Kept up with most of it.
Though the city architect scenes did remind me of procedural generation somewhat And I also now want to build my own city

Not quite the same as being able to fold a city in half with your mind
after all the hype i thought it was good and certainly a classic but i just felt it would have been better if it was a lot darker
Well I thought it was good but it was ruined for me by my g/f who got bored and proceeded to get her phone out and start browsing facebook.
I really don't get that attitude to be honest, she didn't give it a chance really and clearly wasn't concentrating on what was happening as this started after about 45 mins. Then when she was telling me how **** it was I told her to 'Get yourself home then and il see you back there'. Some might say that was a mistake given that she got a face on her like i'd just boiled her dog and eaten it but I think it was the right move.
So pretty much, the £28 I spent on the all singing all dancing imax experience was a bit of a waste because of that. If you want my opinion on this one... don't take your girlfriend to this one, not unless she likes things like the matrix or dark city.

Was a good film found myself losing concentration here and there as it wasnt something that kept you with it at all times but certainly worth watching and although it can be hard to understand for some people think it explained itself well.
