    Started watching The IT Crowd

So i started watching this earlier this week, and i'm really liking it!
I'm sure that many will have watched it from early on, but for anyone who hasn't yet, i'm finding it pretty well written and strongly acted, certainly for the 3 lead roles (although the goth guy is also growing on me).
Am halfway through season 2, and not so sure about the 'son of the boss' chap yet - seems a little bit Royston Vasey to me.
I'm commenting on an internet forum. Your facts hold no sway over me.

He really grew on me, now he's a highlight, just like the Chris Morris bits were for me early on.

I'm a big fan of the series though I've managed to miss a couple of the latest ones thanks to my Sky+ going weird on the dubbing!

Matt Berry rocks in that, cracking character as he develops!

    Damn these electric sex pants!
Latest series is ok, Countdown episode was excellent but there haven't been as many highs as series 2 IMO.

It's an OK (borderline good) UK TV comedy. It doesn't compare to US shows, but it's harmless, easy to watch and quite funny.

I do think the best joke was the life like flame screen saver. The set decoration is spot on, and the "crash" in the credits is in fact a fedora core 6 kernel booting!

I do like the little geeky details, like Roy's T-shirts and the "Plants vs Zombies" sticker on the door!

I think Richard Ayoade (Moss) is a bit like David Mitchell in the Peep Show, in that he just seems to be playing himself! He seemed exactly the same on one of those end of year quiz shows as Moss, and it didn't look like he was acting it.

Re: Started watching The IT Crowd

I went to the filming of the 4th episode from the third series (?? I think, the one where Moss gets a gun) we where there from 7pm to about midnight had a great time, Graham Linehan was excellent even taking a Q&A session when things where dragging @ one point. Unless they edited it out there is one bit where you may be able to hear me laughing like a drain as I spotted something very funny (and geeky) on Roys desk.

Re: Started watching The IT Crowd

One of my favourite UK comedies and highly underrated by many in my opinion! I was a little dubious when Chris Morris left but it's held course and come out the other side possibly even better!

^ Very early but still one of my favourite scenes!
