Television was never really that good on Sundays just that there were less distractions in the form of the internet
There is still the occasional good program: Spooks, Documentaries and anything from HBO that you can dip into when shown.

Near enough given up on TV..never mind Sunday TV..it's full of adverts, celebrities and complete and utter tosh.
Only stuff i watch these days are a few recent but sadly cancelled US shows.
I do think its time that all broadcasting co-operations took a long hard look at their weekend TV format and then look back to how it was in the early 90's/late 80's.
Saturday night would normally kick off with Big Break, Noels House Party, Some obscure Sci Fi show which was pretty good, the lottery, Casualty and then the Saturday night movie.
Sunday would kick off with the Antiques road show (always found that boring, but the old people loved it) then you'd get a couple of comedies in the middle, perhaps a new grippy drama or something like family fortunes which was always half enteraining.
Like others have said it's all celebrities these days or any stupid talentless idiot trying to convince Simon Cowell that he or she can sing.

I have always had the impression that the stuff put on tv on Sunday is just to depress me even more before I go work on Monday!
I do quite enjoy watching the Cube though and I can put up with xfactor (yes shocking I know) but I can't stand these period type dramas or other rubbish that they put on at 9pm. If I can I try and get a movie to watch or back when prison break was on I'd watch that at 9PM instead.
