One other idea, take a short 3 day break somewhere nice (and indoors) in the UK just after the wedding and book a decent hot honeymoon come the spring/summertime.

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
Ok, let's substitute hot for beautiful, somewhere with plenty of visual stimulus to remember in years to come... Prague is meant to be very pretty?
I've only ever been to Prague on business. The old part of Prague is nice but it didn't seem like that big of a place so it may depend on how long you stay for. Outside of the old part / central part it was more along the lines of "Welcome to City 17". Either that or having to travel for work has turned me into a jaded xenophobe.
Budapest is a fascinating city with some really great scenery on its doorstep, although it might be a bit nippy in November.
Thanks for all the suggestions and advice guys. I've yet to decide anything, so feel free to keep the suggestions coming.
Disney world?! Maybe if your six or something?
As it is only a week or less, then you want someplace fairly close by.
Someplace like iceland (as mentioned) is fun, but you have to be a little bit adventurous and like the idea of hot springs too!
But you could also maybe look at north Africa?
But I would suggest you scrap the hot requirement!

Having been to both in the same trip I found Budapest by far the nicer of the two. But to add context, that was in 1994, and by all accounts Hungary had basically ignored communist rule and was in a far better shape than most former "eastern bloc", so that may have been a part of it and Prague may have improved since. But my experience was that, as nice as it is, Prague was quite run down in a lot of areas and actually felt oppressive - Budapest felt like a much more lively and up-and-coming place. As I say, that may have changed in the last 16 (good lord, am I that old? ) years, but I certainly came away with a much more positive view of Budapest.
I've been to both in the last few years (Budapest most recently), and I'd say that there's very little between the two cities. However, Budapest might be a tad warmer since it's further South and was slightly cheaper, although Eastern Europe is cheap as a rule of thumb. Dining out was generally better in Hungary, although service wasn't always top notch.
Although if you do go with Budapest, just bear in mind that some areas have gained it the reputation of the Bangkok of the North. In order to prevent premature floundering of the marriage, it might be a good idea to choose a hotel in a slightly more upmarket part of town.
