Anyone watched/watching this? Similar to Wallander as far as I can see, very good so far, it's testing my dutch subtitle reading ability to the max (we have it on dvd and I'm watching it with my mum ). Would highly recommend, double bill on BBC4 tonight.

Was pretty good - I was a bit miffed at the end, they left me hanging

I personally prefer Wallander, but will be watching again

Well I just watched episodes 3 & 4. Absolutely gripping, this is an awesome series.

Ah, I see. It's the same series, but the americans can't read subtitles so they are making their own (undoubtedly worse) version. Stick to the Danish version, acted superbly.

My in laws watched this back in 2007 and said it was good, i will have to catch up with these on iplayer.

Its sad how US are remaking it, just like the Millennium films getting redone as well. Subtitle phobia! Shocking.

catch myself with nothing to do a few weeks back and ended up watching it out of curiosity.....and like you am now hooked.....got a nasty feeling it's one of those "whoops wrong man" scenarios from Midsomer murders though!!

Series 2 starts tonight on bbc4. I watched series 2 earlier this year in Denmark, and if you liked the first you will enjoy this one as well. The family think its cool how the series became such a cult classic here
