What to do when you get a nose bleed

I really hate it in films and programmes when they always tilt their heads back when they get a nosebleed. No wonder so many people think its the right way. You end up swallowing blood and then vomitting!

Ahhh ok, just looked at diagrams of noses (how pleasant) the bridge is that bit between the eyebrows apparently! Yes it would make no sense to pinch that

i usually sneeze into a tissue to clear any blood clots that are there and then it tends not to drip, and stops bleeding in about 30 seconds. don't know if there is any medical reason for this but it's worked for me since i was in primary school when i used to get nosebleeds every other day.

I must have had a really "weird" night last week as I must have rolled over and nutted the wall when I was asleep. I woke up to find my pillow 1/2 glued to my face with coagulated blood and my lovely clean bedding that I just WASHED and IRONED that night was now a lovely deep red wine. suffice to say I always sleep away from walls now

This is what you should do:

Get a glass of water, and get someone to throw the water directly up your nose. It works, believe me.

If you have a nosebleed, you should seriously find the nearest body-hugging white vest, put it on, and bleed allover it.

Instantly, this will cause people to think you're the hardest git this side of the Thames.

ahhh so thats why bolton wanderers play in white is it ?
