    You've "met" the girl...

...now what do the girls like to talk about?

This is kind of in relation to THIS thread.

Ok, so the suprise location has appeared, be it a nightclub, a local pub, the gym, a local park (as someone said ). So then what do you girlies like to talk about once you have 'met'.

What questions do you like to be asked?
What questions are a waaaayyy... back off?
What do you like to know about someone?

This is not a thread to give your best or worst chat up line, I am just curious what has, hasn't and what does get the girlies... cos lets face it, everyone hates silence!

Your answers don't have to be what you ask to chat someone up, it could be just how you talk to a friend of a friend etc...

Lets try and keep this sensible ehh?

i just ask what i want to know, if they get offended by me at the start... good, saves getting 2-3 months in and offending them and loosing out then, when u think things are goin good.

First thing I say is "hi, are you here with anyone", it’s good to know whom she is with, male or female. Then I say, "My name is Fabio" because my name is Fabio.

I then compliment her on something, eyes, face, body clothes, whatever is good about her, without being rude, for example “nice tits”. Unless u can see she is going to laugh about it, avoid it.

Then crack a joke about yourself, or something funny that happened to you just a while ago (doesn’t have to be true, just crack a joke, a funny one)

Then ask some questions about her, what does she do, how old is she, make good conversation. Look interested, raise your eyebrows, it gives the impression your listing, even if your not. Look at her face, eyes, or mouth while your talking to her, maintain eye contact.

    Usually works for me.

    Oh god, chatting ladies up

hmmmmm i think questions/compliements about sexual body parts are a big no no no, any guy that came upto me and commented on ma chest, would be wearing my drink but thats me..... but then complimenting her on her hair, eyes or her dress sense is good Eye contact is essential, dont be staring her out but dont be looking round the room and over her shoulder at the same time, make sure she knows your interested and your only listening to her open body posture as well, dont be standing there with your arms crossed cos that comes over as aggressive and non-friendly....

Just general conversation, where they from, who they with in the club atm....
Maybe invite your friends and her friends to join up together and then its not so much one - one?

The last time i did this kinda thing was last year so im abit rusty ops: but also me and tumble already knew each other before we got together, so that helped alot

alternatively you could just try being yourself and talking about whatever comes naturally to you?

That sounds a lot easier than it actually is. If I was acting myself all the time, i wouldnt have had half the girls I've had. But you do have a valid point, if your looking for love, be yourself. Theres nothing that turns off a girl more than constantly lieng about yourself.

All of what i posted above, is me, acting myself, but sometimes I may slip in a joke about myself which isnt true.

One more thing! Think positive, get your self esteem to a high. Being nervous really doesnt help. Just think of it the way I do, if she doesnt like you, atleast you will know, so u can move on to the next one.

Very hard for one person to do all the talking, you have to leave a good impression on her, if u just stand thier saying nothing, she will feel like your ignoring her, or she might think your very boring.

    Pictue this:

Walks up to a fit girl..."hi, how you doing?" Then stands there, not saying a word. Yeh...wierdo eh?

theres a way of listening tho, u smile and acknowledge what shes saying.... and u can speak, little 'yeahs' and nods etc etc.... dont have to stand there like a board

Yeah! That is so right, you don't have to pretend being someone else. That'll just get complicated which makes the whole thing a lot more complicated later!

    Good post Lynni...

I was just thinking about it the other day, how people interact (I did Communication Studies which looks at stuff like this) and it's curious to see how many people talk differently in different parts of the woods.
