They should just ban sugar from foods, what they are doing is trying to reduce food consumption because we have reached our limit in the ability to produce foods.

Is 2300Kcal really that much? I know its over some recommendations but I doubt many people over here have a lower intake (?)
Does it include kids? How is that seen as high?

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
As usual with the beeb these days, you have to ignore the headline completely*. The real point is the breakdown in what's contributing towards the calorie increase - this helps because you need to know what to target if you're trying to reduce that calorie increase.
*I was majorly irked the other day with a story about prince charles - the headline was something like "Tax payers funding of prince charles up 18%", an increase of 300k. All true, but rather one sided when the text revealed that the income we got back from him in tax returns had gone up a rather larger 26% or 914k. That makes him a rather good investment
More than somewhat: was about to start a new thread for this but it fits rather nicely here:

OK, the headline on the story looks fair enough. But if you go the the homepage, the headline is....
"Births fuel UK population rise"
So... the population is rising because people are being born? Surely not! I was so surprised...
