    City Link Next Day ?

    Hi, a question to all Scan customers regarding City Links Next day delivery.. How oftern do you actually receive your item next day because most of the orders I've placed recently well selecting next day from scan and also competitors who also use city link have dispatched on the day its ment to be delivered.. Meaning I get it at least a day later then predicted.. . Whos fault is this? Scan or City Link?

    Just seems next day no longer means next day..

    i've noticed this as well, its not isolated to one e-tailer it seems to be City Link thats the problem. It can be very frustrating when you take the day off work to take delivery

    You'll find that most (over 90% plus) of orders are despatched either on the estimated date, or ahead of it (unless a later one is requested) from ourselves.

    I find that hard to believe considering my last 4 orders have all been despatched late...But maybe im just that unlucky..

    Next day delivery is only guaranteed from the point of despatch and as David says between 92 - 94% of orders have met their estimated despatch date, which I personally think is excellent especially at this time of year.

    damn so many of us seem to fall into that 6%, maybe a couple more staff and you could resolve this new issue that i keep seeing pop up. its almost like you expanded without taking on more staff

    While my dispatch is often a day later than hoped (or more if stock problems), the delivery from dispatch has always been next day. That's 100% of 7 completed orders so far.

    Aside from stock problems and one location mix up, the dispatch estimates have been accurate, if not as speedy as I'd like. The trick is to order on days in the middle of the week and get them in early in the day, then you've got the best chance of a same-day dispatch, but that is quite rare these days (scan are just busy ).

    That could be further from the truth to be honest

    Don't forget order delayed because of stock issues also pays a part in this figure also

    Obviously we strive to reach a 100%, however this is not always possible no matter how many staff you have.
