In honour of one of the greatest singers ever, mr Freddie Mercury - would have been 65 today!

A man that wasn't afraid to die, and certainly wasn't afraid to live!

    Re: Freddie Mercury Day!

There's far too many good Queen songs to post favourites. Very sad I never got to see Freddie live. A great performer, and a real loss to the music world.

The one song that always rips my heart out, though, is him singing "too much love" on the Made in Heaven album. Gut-wrenchingly poigniant...

Who Wants To Live Forever still gets me - both for the Highlander link ('Goodnight, my bonny Heather,' aargh!) and poor old Freddie.

I never really liked Queen before he died.

Too many to list them really. Night at the Opera was the best album though - was not quite as fond of them later on in the 80s.

Possibly because when I first saw it, it was clear Freddie's time was very close to passing. Get's me everytime I hear it.
